Surprisingly easy config... and other bits are now IPv6 ready. I have a free block of /64 IPv6 addresses, which is 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 distinct addresses. The entire IPv4 address space is "only" 4,294,967,296 distinct addresses. I wonder what I will do with the rest? Can you join the launch?

Parque Zoologico de Sao Paulo, Brazil

Friday, 24 January 2014 | link | tag | / Trips / Brazil / Sao Paulo
The girls were super excited about seeing the Zoo on their last weekend in Brazil. In particular they wanted to see the "Rio Birds" - the colourful Macaws from the movie Rio. On this front, the Zoo did not disapoint.

The Zoo is huge, but well setup and laid out. We walked endlessly but rarely back-tracked nor felt we were missing parts. A bit to much mesh and cages, but the animals seemed healthy and happy.

The Macaws were splendind, and a different bunch of animals from the Americas were more heavily featured, such as the Anaconda, and the Andean Condor. The Zoo also had a North American Mountain Lion or Puma, and many Camans (jacaré). Of course the usual famous animals where there - Zebras, Elephants, Seals and Chimps.

We arrived early to beat the heat and crowds. About lunchtime it want totally mad with people.

Parque do Ibirapuera, São Paulo Brazil

Friday, 10 January 2014 | link | tag | / Trips / Brazil / Sao Paulo
Ibirapuera park is a giant green space in the heart or São Paulo, not far from where our hotel was. We went to check it out after breakfast before the day got to hot. Vast fig trees and hundreds of peices of playground equipment finally gve way to several scenic lakes connected by bridges.

As the day wore on, more and more locals come to the park to walk, jog, bike and roller-blade.

The highlight was a massive fig tree with three trunks - Isabella and Annabel both thought it was magic.

Isabella's 6th Birthday!

Friday, 6 December 2013 | link | tag | / Personal / Isabella
Isabella wanted her party at home, you gotta love her, because she wanted a jumping castle and mummy to cook. Even though the rage is to have parties at the Lollipop type places, she was adamant. Thus you have our 6 year old... :)

Lots of her friends from school came, lots of jumping, lots of cake. Happy birthday 'bella.

Loy Krathong Festival - Parramatta

Friday, 22 November 2013 | link | tag | / Trips / Australia / New South Wales
We had a late lunch with Annie and Daniel, and made Krathong (lotus flower shaped boats, or lanterns) and went to the Loy Krathong Festival on Parramatta river.

The girls enjoyed some corn on the cob, launched the Krathong in the river and actually managed to stay awake until the fireworks display, which they really enjoyed.
